"we encourage you to think about cotton…"
Cotton is an amazing textile and the main ingredient in many baby products. It is used in crib bedding, blankets, bibs, apparel and the list goes on and on. The parents of today are very savvy about their choices and super smart about purchasing products that are safe for their baby and the environment. Consumers have great attention to detail and they invest the time to research brands and products before they purchase.
There are a tremendous amount of fabulous products on the market today for children. However, a lot of brands source their materials from multiple vendors and are not able to ensure their customers that they are chemical free and made by an accredited factory. New parents have so much to manage, we feel it is the manufacturer’s responsibility to deliver worry-free products.
Our goal at baby star is to ensure that all of our products are safe for baby and the environment. To meet this goal, all of our products are formaldehyde-free, meaning no chemicals are used in any step of our manufacturing process. Additionally, we also make them at an accredited factory. We work with an amazing woman-owned, ICTI accredited factory in China. ICTI is the highest rating from the Chinese government and requires manufacturers “to be committed to the promotion of safety products, to the advancement of social responsibilities in the industry with programs to address environmental concerns, fair and lawful employment practices and workplace safety.” We are proud knowing that all of baby star’s products are made with the greatest of care.
We encourage consumers to think about the products you purchase for your sweet baby. Ask the hard questions to the manufactures to ensure safety and chemical-free products. There are so many passionate and talented people in the baby business and we know you will enjoy the journey of discovery. We love the Mahatma Gandhi quote "be the change you want to see in the world." We are very inspired by this notion and try to do all we can to be good to our children and our planet. Please join us in embracing green-living.
